Testing To Test for Estimate Useful Lifespan of a Product with
MERIDIAN Programmable Temperature and Humidity Chamber
Model MRD-TH-1000
Often times we need to estimate the best lifespan of a product or its shelf-life when it is exposed to the environment/elements.
By using Meridian accelerated aging testers, we can skip the painfully slow natural yet slow process of wear and tear of a product : By applying aggravated conditions of heat, humidity, oxygen, sunlight, vibration, etc. to speed up the normal aging processes of items. For being able accelerate and intensify environmental conditions, it is possible to predict how products will perform during their lifetime.
Obsnap’s Meridian chambers has the capability to conduct a wide variety of simulated weathering and artificial aging tests via. computer controlled environmental simulators and accelerated aging test chambers for conducting temperature/humidity cycling, thermal shock, ultraviolet weathering tests and vibration tests.
Obsnap has installed a 1000 litre capacity MERIDIAN Programmable Temperature and Humidity Chamber: Model MRD-TH-1000 at a Taiwanese company. This company is specialized in manufacturing automotive parts like steering wheel, seat-belt and etc. The chamber is being used to perform thermal cyclic test; heat and humidity resistance test, in order to find out a product’s lifespan under really harsh environmental conditions.
The Plant Manager, Mr. Dean, had high expectations on chamber’s quality and performance during discussion with Obsnap and has done his homework with detailed market survey and & comparison; in terms of technical specialization, controllers and components in the chambers. We were glad that he chose MERIDIAN Temperature and Humidity Chamber and was satisfied with our training and service support.
